Shamera Chatheechan
Founder & President
An enthusiastic individual who has a passion for serving the community and hopes to make a difference in the world.
She organized a cancer campaign with 272 volunteers and raised $2,130 to support the Canadian Cancer Society's cancer prevention programs. She has volunteered at the Mississauga Central Library, Heartland Forest Center, Cyber-Seniors, Meaningful Teens Texas, Beyond the Wards, and Learn in Shelter.

Hobbies: Drawing, dancing (Bharathanatyam), playing the violin and veena, reading books, solving challenging math problems, and playing badminton.

Lageera Chatheechan
Co-Founder & Treasurer
A highly motivated and organized individual who puts 100% effort into everything she does.
She was the head of the Planning and Organizational Committee in Salangai En Sangeetham's Fight for Cancer campaign. She has also volunteered with Cyber-Seniors, Meaningful Teens Texas, and Beyond the Wards.

Hobbies: Drawing, painting, dancing (Bharathanatyam), singing, playing the flute and guitar, reading books, writing poetry and stories, playing badminton, and track and field.

Julia Kim
Secretary
A sociable and friendly person who looks out for the well-being of others and makes sure that all team members feel valued.
She was an event planner in Salangai En Sangeetham's Fight for Cancer campaign. She took the initiative to lead one of the winter promotional event planning teams and oversaw the creation of an informative and creative collage.

Anjaly Jeyacanthan
Marketing and Promotions Officer

An energetic individual who likes to take upon challenging endeavors to serve the community and strives for a better world.
She was a representative in her school's student council and perfect council where she created, organized, and managed activities and projects to build engaging opportunities for students. She also volunteered as a content creator and event planner in Salangai En Sangeetham's Fight for Cancer campaign and took leadership during promotional events by overseeing the work of volunteers.

Hobbies: Reading books, traveling, playing instruments, dancing, and doing artsy crafts.

Shaeera Azad
Marketing and Promotions Officer
A hardworking individual who aspires to help others and tries to spread positivity.
She volunteered for her school's student vote election and was in charge of organizing, conducting, managing, and advocating for the election. She was also a member of her school's S.I.A, she has volunteered with the BIES youth group as one of the executive marketing members and got involved with the cancer campaign as an event planner.
Hobbies: Listening to music, watching shows, going on walks, talking with my friends and cooking.

Vinosha Srikugananthan
Volunteer Coordinator
A responsible and hardworking individual who is not afraid to take risks and believes that facing challenges changes one into a stronger person.
She demonstrated leadership in Salangai En Sangeetham's Fight for Cancer campaign by managing the volunteers during the winter promotional event. She also worked at the library and promoted the TD Summer Reading campaign by working with children through reading buddies, and helped host game and movie nights.

Sydney Lum
Public Relations Officer
An ambitious individual who seeks opportunities to help others and is eager to learn new things.
As the vice president of her school's French club, she collaborated with the other members to organize activities and brainstormed different ways to keep students engaged. She also volunteered for the cancer campaign and was an assistant math teacher for an after-school class.
